Today a grand function regarding shuhada day was held at Tulip morque Attock in which provincial minister Ch Sher Ali was the chief guest whereas DC Attock Rana Akbar Hayat, ADC Ikram, AC's, Chairman baldia, President bar association, members of civil society and above all the families of shuhada participated. Special video message recorded by Worthy IGP was played. Adressing the participants, DPO Attock Zahid Nawaz Marwat reiterated the commitment that the families of shuhada will be given due care and attention and for the purpose a shuhada cell was established. He said that he is 24 hours available for the families of shuhada and Attock police won't leave any stone unturned for welfare of all officials/officers of Attock police. Chief guest adressed the gathering and paid tribute to shuhada. He said that Punjab government is providing full support to police regarding shuhadas as the shuhada package has been reformed and an attractive package for families of our heroes was introduced by the current government. At the end of the program,bouquets and cash amount worth 1 lac was distributed among families of shuhada and lunch was arranged for all participants.
