On 10-10-2015 Atta Muhammad Capt(Retd) DPO Attock presided over a meeting with organizers of muharram processions, Majjalis and management of Imam Barghas and told them about the governmental policies in respect of peaceful passage of muharram and asked them two co-operate with the governmental machinery to ensure security of participants of prcessions.The organizers were also told that at all the entry and exit points volunteers will be depoloyed to help the police personnel.The participants of prcessions as well as Majjalis Aza will be allowed of after physical search and passing walk trhough gates.The display of arms will be prohibtited and Zakireen will not be allowed to keep private guards.Use of loudspeakers will be restricted and during Khutba or Namaz the speaches will also not be delivered.The routs and timings of prcessions will be strictly adhered to.The Parking wil be kept about 400 feet away from the procession.In the end the participants were told that a control room has been eshtablished in DPO office which will function 24 hours.
