Mr. Zahid Nawaz Marwat assumed the charge of DPO Attock and held introductory meeting with all DSPs ans SHOs and examined the District crime and security positions. In introductory address the DPO Attock emphasized the Attock Police to favour orphans, widows aged and gentlemen people. He further directed that every SHO should redress the problems faced by families of Police Martyrs and if any Police official is feeling any hardship he should personally tell the same to him. The Police uniform is sign of honour and its prestige should be maintained. The offence should not be hidden else the Police official will himself be considered as culprit. The corruption will not be tolerated and all DSPs and SHOs are responsible for security of their respective areas. Keeping in view the prevailing terrorism attacks appropriate measures for protection of schools and public institutions should be adopted.The provision of justice to needy people is basic duty of Police as such no lacuna should be left in public service. All the DSPs and SHOs should hold open meeting with public in their respective areas and ensure provision of justice.In the end DPO Attock expressed his feelings that Attock Police will take meticulous efforts under his patronage to serve the Public so as to restore its good will.
